Emre Onur, born in 1974 in Stuttgart, initially completed an apprenticeship as a draftsman. In 2001 he graduated with a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Technical University of Stuttgart, followed by an MBA in International Management at Nürtingen University in 2004. Since 2013, Emre Onur has been editor-in-chief of the LICHT magazine published by the renowned Munich-based Pflaum Verlag. He is also editor-in-chief of the trade fair newspaper Frankfurt daily Light + Building and organizes the LICHTWOCHE MÜNCHEN in cooperation with Pflaum Verlag. Already during his architectural studies at the Technical University of Stuttgart, Onur was fascinated by light and design.
