Falk Kagelmacher received his Dipl. Ing. degree from TU-Braunschweig, his M.Arch. from Hong Kong University and a post. Degree in CAAD and Information Visualization from ETH-Zurich. For seven years he worked as a consultant for sustainable urban development at the Chinese Ministry of Construction. In Chongqing, the largest city in the world, he was Professor of Urban Design - a total of 14 years in China. In the Ukraine he led a project for sustainable mobility, in Rwanda he accompanied and documented the urban development of the capital Kigali. For many years he has lectured in China and at the HTWG Konstanz. Currently he operates between Germany, China and Africa, where he deals with urban spaces and participative planning.
