Katharina Klug is professor of marketing at the AMD (HS Fresenius, school of design) in Munich. Prior to this, she was responsible for the service research of a health insurance, she worked for the customer care of United Parcel Service (UPS) in Dublin and as marketing consultant in creative industries. Moreover, she was research assistant at the marketing department of the Technical University Dresden. Katharina Klug studied business administration at the TU Dresden and the Università degli Studi di Trento. She reached a Ph.D. in 2014 from the Kiel University. In her work she focuses on messenger marketing, consumer lifestyles and innovative retailing. She publishes about guerilla marketing, pop-up stores and chatbots in numerous journals and on national and international conferences.
