Nicola Borgmann works nationally and internationally as a curator, architect and art historian based in Munich. As director of the Architekturgalerie München, she has been organizing and designing the gallery's exhibitions and events on current themes from architecture, the city, design and art since 1992. As a freelance curator, she is responsible for numerous architecture and art exhibitions, discussions, lectures and art events at home and abroad. She complements her professional activities with editorial and scientific work and publications, as well as lectures at international universities. She was awarded the Bavarian Architecture Prize in 2011 and the City of Munich Architecture Prize in 2018.
