Chris McTeague, PhD
Chris is an interdisciplinary researcher in cognitive design science, exploring how insights from psychology and neuroscience can help designers create products aligned with how users think, feel, and behave.
With a background in engineering design, Chris operates at the intersection of design and psychology—a path that has taken him from Glasgow to Bristol, and now to Munich. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Integrated Product Design at TUM. His work focuses on understanding how interior spaces shape human thought and emotion, and on developing tools and methods that enable designers to apply this knowledge in practice.
