Biophilic Workspace: Open Office

Have you ever wanted to work in a biophilic-inspired workspace? Enjoy working in a biophilic-inspired workspace and participating in our ongoing research.

Biophilia promotes a harmonious relationship between humans and nature within the built environment. In our Open Office event, you can experience the influence of biophilic design first-hand whilst participating in cutting-edge design research. We invite you to bring your laptop or sketchbook and use the spaces to workindividually as you please. Need a place for a video call, or a quiet spot for some programming? We would be delighted to welcome you to our biophilic workspace.

The Open Office is a live research environment. During the session, guests will visit two of our three rooms. Each room monitors the wellbeing of the participant using a variety of passive sensors and a state-of-the-art health monitoring watch. A few weeks after the event, we will send you a report of your data so you can see how you responded to being in each space. In participating in this study, you will contribute to our understanding of how biophilic design influences our physical and mental wellbeing.

Note: The event does not take place continuously from 8:00-14:00. It is only a time slot of 1.5 hours, which can be selected flexibly via the Eventbrite registration in between the timeframe.All bookings are for individual work. Please use the entrance to TUM at corner Luisen-/Gabelsbergerstraße (Entrance VI, Luisenstraße 42) to get to us. We are on the 3rd floor in room 3340. All data is anonymised.
