Better together: shaping a sustainable tomorrow (through design)

We want to work for a sustainable future — but where to start and what gives us the necessary drive? We start this conversation with inspiring talks and active hands-on workshops.

One day, we may wake up with this urge to get involved, support real change, and put our talents to good use. But to shape the future meaningfully is a big job, the field is wide, and the methods are diverse, which can make a start laborious, cumbersome, and exhausting.

Whether out of personal or professional motivation, many of us will face such a challenge. We will need huge amounts of energy and resources to follow this path.

We need smart ideas. Success stories that inspire us. But above all: motivation — an inner driver. This can be a new way of thinking, an understanding of meaningful niches to start with, or the realization that transformation can also begin with ourselves. Our event will provide suggestions for such starting points, whether they are individual or collaborative.

The event offers a mix of inspiring talks and interactive workshops on topics such as sustainable packaging design, design thinking for more sustainability and how AI can support the design process. We will also look at what we can learn from repair cafés and how we may adapt to change.

The event will allow you to expand your knowledge, share ideas, and work on solutions together. And we'll ensure to integrate motivating bits and pieces as well as snacks and drinks.
