What is good?
Are we on the verge of transition to a new design culture or are questions of values overwhelming us?
The DDC is the voice for all design disciplines. With our platforms we promote interdisciplinary exchange and
networking. As part of the mcbw we want to continue our
value-discourse.
After the presentation of the newly founded Design Cultures Institute for Applied Design Research (dci) by Prof. Markus Frenzl, director of the dci institute, we discuss with Frederike Kintscher-Schmidt, Vice President VDID, how temporary or lasting the question of values has an influence on designers.
Panel participants:
Frederike Kintscher-Schmidt, VDID
Prof. Markus Frenzl, Director of the dci Institute,
Faculty of Design at Munich University of Applied Sciences
Hosts:
Prof. Bettina Otto, Dara Sepehri (Board Members DDC)
