Which opportunities, risks and (ethical) questions can arise from the use of generative AI in the context of co-creative processes for humans, societies and the environment? Explore with MUC.DAI!
Generative AI systems for text or image generation such as ChatGPT, DALL-E or Midjourney are becoming an integral part of current public discourse. The possibilities, but also the risks that can arise from their use, are turning seemingly safe conditions in various areas upside down in many ways. At the heart of the resulting discourse is always the question of how we as humans perceive ourselves and operate in a network of interrelations. Generative AI and its outputs can create new positions in these networks of relationships, both together with humans and on their own. This disruption can inspire us to question the existing relationships - to question the nature of these (sometimes co-creative) relationships.
The Munich Center for Digital Sciences and AI warmly invites you to explore these questions with the help of various practical and (system-)theoretical perspectives from the fields of design, art, computer science and media on the underlying networks of relationships.
We look forward to inspiring talks by experts and open up spaces to jointly discover the latest technologies and (im)possible future fields of application in the context of student projects.
