Orientation without sight? Communication without hearing? Moving in a wheelchair? Explore the Deutsches Museum from a different perspective and learn important facts about accessibility and inclusion.
In addition to important information on the topic of accessibility and inclusion in museums and exhibitions, you will be given creative tools to make places and offers more inclusive step by step. On the tour through the exhibitions, you will experience a change of perspective through the use of wheelchairs, walking frames, simulation glasses and earplugs and experience the museum visit from a different perspective. How does orientation work without sight or communication without hearing? This will give you an impression where barriers exist and where barriers to understanding and communication need to be removed in the cultural sector.
The event focuses on inclusive thinking and is thus first and foremost a sensitization for the inner attitude of the cultural producers themselves. Inclusion is one of the goals of social sustainability in the Deutsches Museum.
