Munir Georges

From 2010 onwards, he held various positions at SVOX GmbH in Munich and Nuance Communications GmbH in Aachen, Germany, where he developed AI-based speech recognition for the automotive industry. In particular, he was the technical lead for cloud/edge arbitration in the vehicle. In 2015, Prof. Dr. Georges moved to Intel Deutschland GmbH and was responsible for the low- and ultra-low-power components for speech understanding and speaker recognition as a product architect and technical manager.Since 2020, he has been conducting research in the Intel Lab "Multi-modal Human Machine Interaction" and holds a research professorship at THI. His research on speech and speaker recognition, machine translation, speech and text understanding has resulted in numerous patents(>10granted, >50under review)
