Rosalie Apituley

In 2022 Rosalie graduated (cum laude) with Product Design at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem (NL). By doing artistic research she specialised in the field of energy. Her focus is to make the invisible (infra)structures around energy visible and tangible. She has a critical eye towards existing manifestations and systems, and enjoys to unravel complex matter. Her practice truly values the role of humour within design.
Currently she is artist-in-residence at Alliander, on of the biggest network operators in the Netherlands. She researches the potential of adapting the culture around energy use into a more weather oriented culture. Rosalie is designing an ice-rink on solar energy that will be on show in the summer of ’24 in Arnhem (NL).
