Fillip Studios was founded by Roos Meerman and Tom Kortbeek with the mission to turn wonder into impact — because all progress starts with wonder. From an idealistic-realistic view, the studio develops artistic concepts and design research and continuously seeks cooperation with universities, institutions, museums and commercial companies. With Pi Lab (founded in 2020), Fillip Studios bridges the gap between design, science and technology: artists, scientists and engineers jointly research the new creative and innovative possibilities within mathematics and physics.
