Digital Art Experiences by kontrastmoment

kontrastmoment is an interdisciplinary and multicultural design office in Munich. Various digital art projects and experiences will be exhibited.

TREELIFE
In this project, we want to show the life of a tree. To this end, measurement data is processed audiovisually in order to make it emotionally tangible in a VR experience. At MCBW, we are still using the data recordings from TreeSense – but in future, these will be processed and recorded live and in real time.

NIRWANA.GOLD
This multi-sensory VR trilogy offers the viewer three different spiritual experiences. A separate film, soundtrack, perfume and ice cream were designed for each experience.

Nirwana.Gold is currently being submitted to film festivals around the world. We are already in the programme of the Riga Digital Film Festival and the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival. At MCBW 2024, you can experience the VR trilogy once again on site at our premises in Munich.

About kontrastmoment:
Our work focuses on the development, conception, design and implementation of complex human-machine interfaces. We are the mediators between a human and a technical world. We are cross-border commuters in the areas of computer science, technology, product design, ergonomics, communication, culture and psychology.

As interface designers, it is our job to design and translate the interfaces between this world and the other – the technological world. We guide and support this process along the entire work chain, all the way to series implementation and further development.
