A look behind the scenes: How is a design magazine created? How does the editorial team track down topics and trends or how do you get your own work into the magazine?

There is a lot of talk about "the" media, usually associated with criticism. But how exactly does an editorial team work, how does it select topics and content, how does it decide what is relevant?

In the morning impulse, the team will briefly introduce how they work at Grafikmagazin and talk about strange interview situations, impressive personalities, great discoveries and productions that are not for the faint-hearted.
The talk will last around 20 minutes, after which there will be an opportunity to talk to the Grafikmagazin team and the other guests. Finally, you can recharge your batteries and start the working day inspired by browsing through the many issues of Grafikmagazin.

Grafikmagazin is a German-language trade journal for communication design and is aimed primarily at professional graphic designers, creative agencies and design students from the DACH region and beyond. Every two months, Grafikmagazin presents over 100 pages of outstanding work from the fields of graphic design, typography, illustration, photography, design theory, research, paper and print.
