Christian Labonte

Christian Labonte, Audi Design Strategy, began his professional career as a cabinetmaker and studied industrial design at the University of Essen. After setting up his own design agency, he moved to Audi Design in 1999. He provided technical support for the Audi Urban Future Initiative throughout its entire term and was responsible for long-term strategy and vehicle technology in the development of Audi Mobility in Munich from 2012 to 2015.

Christian Labonte teached as Professor of Interaction Design in Lippstadt and held a long-standing visiting professorship for strategic design at the Folkwang UdK Essen. He teached at the Universities of St. Gallen, Zurich HdK, HS Munich and the RCA in London.
