Heidi Yli-Suvanto

As Color & Material Designer at Polestar, Heidi Yli-Suvanto works to combine the traditional CMF design together with digital development. A lot of her inspiration comes from creating and developing sustainable materials that are both premium and with their best properties at the fore – a technique learnt from previous experiences in footwear and product design. Heidi has a master's degree in Transportation Design from Umeå Institute of Design and a bachelor's degree in Vehicle Design from Lahti Institute of Design. During her time at Polestar since 2021, she has been involved in Polestar 3, 4, the O2 concept, the Candela boat and is currently the program designer for Polestar 5.
