Linda Ruth Schmidt studied industrial design in Germany and the UK, and now has 16 years of professional experience. As In-House UX Lead, she has built up both the Industrial Design and User Experience (UX) departments in the Industrial Design division. She has led the development of strategic projects and successfully introduced the UCD process (ISO 9241 standard) and expanded the development of UX research.
As Head of UX at EPLAN, she manages the development of digital systems for electrical engineering planning and establishes agile methods in the company with a focus on user involvement.
