Melanie Hammer

Melanie Hammer is the CEO of the BHB Unternehmensgruppe. With a background in engineering and architecture she takes on a holistic view on urban development. Together with her team, she develops liveable neighbourhoods from a female perspective that are more than just houses - taking a step back from the arbitrariness of urban development BHB focuses on the spirit of a place, the 'genius loci'.

Form follows emotion: based on five dimensions of sustainability, balanced, inclusive residential properties are created through the interplay of architecture, design, ecology, art and landscape architecture. Since 1976 BHB values visionary thinking and emphasizes traditional craftsmanship with a sense of future and durability in the Munich metropolitan region.
