Rudolf Nützel

Dr. Rudolf Nützel is a expert in the field of nature conservation and biodiversity. Prior to his current position as Head of the Nature Conservation and Biodiversity Division in the Department for Climate and Environmental Protection of the City of Munich, he worked for over two decades as Managing Director of the Munich District Group of BUND Naturschutz in Bayern e.V. His academic background is in forestry, education and psychology. In addition to his main activity, he was a volunteer on the nature conservation advisory board of the City of Munich and received the District Medal in Gold of the District of Upper Bavaria for his services to voluntary nature conservation.
